A huge congratulations to Brother Michael McKee who placed 4th in The North Central Regional Apprenticeship Contest this weekend! Brother McKee will be moving on to the national competition in Detroit in September!

The North Central Regional Apprenticeship Contest is a great opportunity for them to do just that. I couldn’t be more proud of all the Local 23 apprentices and a big shoutout to brother Michael McKee for bringing home 4th place,” said Brian Greynolds, Director of Apprenticeship and Training for BAC Local 23.

Marble Setters and Marble Finishers Needed for Downtown Cleveland
A well-known IUBAC Stone Contractor, W.R. Weis, wants to hire marble setters and marble finishers for a project in downtown Cleveland.
Weis will pay a per diem, lodging and mileage for marble setters and marble finishers.
Weis is requiring that marble setters and marble finishers applying for the positions have completed a minimum 10 hour OSHA safety training.
Weis would like the applicants to be trained for Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP) and lull and forklift, but those are optional.
